Safety work at Bromma Stockholm focuses on technical and operational safety measures aimed at preventing the occurrence of incidents involving unsafe take-offs, landings or aircraft taxiing.
Security is a combination of measures based on human and material resources, aimed at preventing civil aviation from illegal acts. The purpose of security operations is to prevent criminal attacks against civil aviation, such as violence, sabotage and hijacking or threat or preparations for such acts.
Bromma never comments on aviation security. The Swedish Civil Aviation Authority determines the security rules and security levels for the Division’s airports. These rules are based on international regulations. The Swedish National Police Board and its Security Service conduct threat assessments.
