Czech Airlines celebrates 65 years in Sweden with retro-painted airliner

Czech Airlines began air service between Stockholm and Prague 65 years ago. Today, they are celebrating this anniversary by landing at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in a retro-inspired OK-XGB-type aircraft. The airliner has the same paint scheme as the first Czechoslovakian jet-powered Tu-104A OK-LDA that was flown for the first time between Prague and Moscow on December 9, 1957.

The direct flight between Stockholm and Prague has made possible a large-scale exchange between the cities, and today some 78,000 people fly each year from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to the Czech capital.
