The environment is of paramount importance to civil aviation and therefore also to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The airport is owned, operated and developed by Swedavia. Stockholm Arlanda Airport participates with Swedavia in local, regional, national and international efforts to reduce the adverse environmental impact of its operations while working for lasting sustainable development at the airport.
Below are brief descriptions and links to some of the national and international organisations that carry out different kinds of environmental work in the civil aviation world.
